Hi guys, I just booked a charter with Ivan for later in the month with some family members etc, and he and I were lamenting how good the weather looks at the moment compared to last weekend.
He said he doesn't have anything on this Friday and the weather is looking pretty good, 1m swell, low wind in the morning picking up to maybe 15knots in the arvo
I have a quiet week at work and figure gotta make good with the tuna whilst they are on.
So....who is interested for this friday, 10 October?

Hi Scott
I'd love to but I'm playing boss at present while the owner is away.
Some of us have work commitments Ha Ha Ha.
Enjoy the moment

I'm committed to working when I have to, and fishing when I don't! Seriously though even though it is quiet I will just work a few later nights this week, and maybe do a bit of work from home on Saturday if we can get out Friday...
At the moment though there are no other replies, so it looks like I might be in chambers by default on Friday! :brickwall:

Good one Rob. Yeah I only ever seem to catch Tuna when Garry is working his cubing magic, might have to get him to take a sicky.
Ok well if Tim and his mate come too that makes four, which means we almost have a crew....come on guys, two spots left, who wants to experience 'fin fever??

count me in mate when do we pay? and do we need to bring our own gear?

Because it is pretty late notice cash on the day is probably how we will do it. Usually it would be in advance but we don't really have time to organise it. If you don't show up (which I am sure won't be a problem) we will hunt you down. :Tumb up:
Ivan has gear, Tiagra 50's for trolling and TLD 20's with, I think, 15kg or 24kg rods for cubing.
I will be taking my own gear because I prefer to use spinning reels and I will probably try doing some jigging for tuna, so my gear is better for that than his. Ivan's gear is well and truly up to the task though, so if you want all you need to bring is your food and drinks and you can basically just walk on and walk off.
Can you PM me your mobile in case there are any unexpected problems re weather etc?
That makes 5 guys, who wants last spot???

No worries Garry, enjoy the visit from the family
At the moment I have 6 people, subject to a couple of final confirmations this morning.
If any of them do not confirm then Moses your mate who is interested is the first reserve.
