Hi the old VHF seems to have breathed its last any recomendations for a new one up top $250 mark?

Ive got an ICOM with DSC and its a top unit Robbie. I give it a hammering and it just keeps on going.

I have been running Uniden VHF and 27mhz for a number of years now. Was talking on Ch80 to Ivan/Ambition and others up at Port Stephens, from inside harbour at Little Manly last Sunday. No problems getting heard or hearing.

Tried GME at one stage, but they did not last in exposed conditions on the bridge of the boat.
