I want to tear myslef away from playing with bream and land my first king this season from the HARBOUR.

I am after someone with some experience to help me get one of those dam kings that always seem to give me greif when I am not targeting them.

Therefore I am asking if somone would be so kind as to either let me tag along as a deckie for a day or be a deckie on my boat. Either way I am not fussed.

SO if anyone is interested in helping me out hopefully this saturday then either reply to this thread or PM me so we can discuss it more.

A word of warning -

90% of the time I have gone north ( Coffs Harbour ) to chase kings I always get busted off on hoodlums and never seem to be able to get the big brutes to the boat. even earlier on in spring I was knocked of by a king out in boken bay. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing

Cheers

Lee, I am not for one second claiming to be an expert. It took a Queenslander to help me catch my first ever King. The way I do things may be right or may be wrong, but they have worked for me recently. Thats not to say that it ALWAYS works! I have put a fair bit of info into my reports on how and where I catch them, and if you have any questions...yell out mate!

I'm more than likely going to be out there again this Saturday. It wouldn't be too hard to catch up and tag team!

Thanks Jo. I might take you up on that offer but I would prefer to be on board or have on board someone who has done it this season. After not chasing them in the harbour last year it means that almost 2 years has passed and I am a little rusty when chasing live bait as most of the normal haunts have not produced live bait for me this season. I guess I have been spoiled fishing up at Port and having live bait when evere you want it :D

After spending so much time chasing bream I want to have my arms stretched as I have forgotten how much fun it is.

Cheers

I haven't been on the harbour for a couple of weeks, but the kings have been pretty hard to miss this year until then. If you get out early and work plastics and jigs in the usual spots you should have no trouble scoring a dozen kings in a day.
Bait would work well also.
