G'day fellow Sydney Anglers. This is the summary report for all the fishing that has gone on through the week. We hope you can use this as a tool to help you plan a more successful trip on your next outing.

We have reverted back to the Thursday night format as it works better that way.

Friday morning saw Kelvin doing his usual thing. Finding squid, and braining the Kings in the Harbour.

Phil was also out and about on Friday. He had ring-side seats to one of the best fishing fights he has seen in a long time!

Oz was out on Saturday, and also managed to find some Kings to keep him busy. He did lose an absolute horse of a fish. We all know that Kings test your tackle, but they were ripping Oz’s boat apart…not just his rigs.

Terry was drifting around South Head for a decent feed of Sambos, Flatties, Schnapper and Bonnies. He lucked out on the Kingfish though.

Mario was out looking for whatever…and managed to get dusted by a few Kings while fishing pillie cubes for bream. He did land one of the bait pinching Kings, but only after getting done 3 times.

Pete downrigged his usual haunts trying to entice a Kingy, but only found them around some of the Markers in the Harbour. He did manage to get one King that still had a fly firmly lodged in it’s gob. Just shows how resilient these fish are.

Anthony had a disappointing day out of Broken Bay. Although the water temps seemed favourable at 21.7, he found NOTHING! Even the ever reliable Flatty grounds failed to produce.

Tim fished Broken Bay and managed to have a blast chasing some of the finicky Frigates that have been around. The only thing he had that would entice them was some home made lead slugs of about 8 grams.

A bit out of Sydney, but Vmov managed a few good flatties out of the Hunter on Sunday. It seems that most of these came on plastics.

Jason managed a Bonnie and a healthy Sambo at Quarantine before the sun even came up on Monday. His fish were taken on plastics.

Kelvin was out again on Sunday, and off course, absolutely brained the Kings once more. All his fish were on live squid, and his sin brought all the fish to the boat with minimal assistance.

Oz backs up to try and get some revenge on the Kings that were wrecking his boat. Only to have it happen AGAIN! If nothing else, at least he is finding the bigger fish around the Harbour!

Matt and Will fished a very ordinary looking Georges River, but only managed a few throwbacks. But Will did add to his species list. He has now caught an eel!

Joe took his girls out for a fish on Sunday. All they managed was a fat bream that took a Pillie tail at Clifton Gardens. The rest of his day was crap.
http://www.sydneyangler.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=4000

Andrew was out on one of the Sydney charters to jig for Kings over 12 mile and The Peak. They managed one King over a metre, and various other fish including ‘Cuda and a Flute Mouth!
http://www.sydneyangler.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=4001

Bruce nailed his first ever fish on a downrigger. A nice little King took a liking to the Tailor he was trolling. He got around Middle Head as he was coming home.
http://www.sydneyangler.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=3977

Rohit fished plastics on the flats in Cowan, and came up trumps with some well conditioned Whitting. He also managed a great feed of Blue Swimmers.
http://www.sydneyangler.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=4012

And just for something different, Des went to Port Stephens and actually managed an 80KG Stripe. They managed to hook a few other Stripes, but lost them to spat baits or hooks pulling. And then another Black was tagged.

Rob and his dad fished the Northern Beaches for some solid bream on bonnie cubes on Sunday. And Monday at The Pines he managed a stonker of a Whitting that took a liking to his 6 inch slab of mullet on an 8/0 meant for a Jew.

Kevin and Pete fished the Harbour on Monday as the Queens entered. They were downrigging around some markers and managed a very respectable flatty. They managed a couple of Kings, but not before also getting parts of their boat ripped up!
http://www.sydneyangler.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=4028

A bit further afield, Andy and Co. fished SWR for the weekend. A few decent Kings and a Cobia of 40-50 lbs really made their trip.

And Jon brings us the rundown of his weekends Marlin fishing at Port Stephens. They did it tough…but still managed to score.

And last but by no means least, is Zach’s report of the great crabs that were taken from Half Moon Bay in San Francisco. Yes, not our normal reporting, but it’s good to see what else is going on out there.
