I'm in the market for a 3 phase 10-15 amp battery charger. Do we know if David Boan is still in the battery business?

No he isn't Dazza. There is a pretty wide range of chargers from the Project range at my local KMart. They seem to be the goods, and have most situations covered. Look them up!

That's a shame about David. Nice bloke, good prices and great service.

Just had a look at the web site. For those of us who think electricity (along with computers and helicopters) are white mans' magic, how many Amps is 4000mA :o ?

Doesn't it go along the lines of 1000mA = 1 amp

What are you trying to Charge Dazza? 10-15 amps is a hell of a lot of current!

Any sort of retirement; semi, half, full, forced, would do me. But I couldn't move to Qld like Pedro.

Bought a second hand little punt, Andy & I are running its shakedown cruise tomorrow, hopefully lots of brims bro. :appl: :cheekybugger:

congrates on the new boat.

I not sure deep cycle batteries( if thats what where talking about) like to be charged that fast!

deep cycle as the name suggest. If your using just plain cranking batteries then go the 10-15 amp charger.

We on the amazon poly have a 105amp hour deep cycle batt, (minn kota 55)and was recommended (by battery world) a battery fighter .75 amp charger. Its slooow but won`t kill it.... sound right?:D
