Southies Fark off!!! :D

Let's commence developing our strategy for the weekend.

There's a high tide at 6:20pm with a subsequent low just before midnight.

Obviously squid catching must be a priority. What about if we have a muster point - Say Gunyah Point - where we can meet at around 4pm on Saturday afternoon and distribute excess bait.

Then everyone fishes their chosen locations with an optional raft up location where we can congregate later in the evening.

Comments welcome.

Geez I've hit the submit button twice ...... no worries ... see below :o

Edit: Where'd it go

Edit Edit: A helping hand from a mod no doubt as he's already replied

What I said was;

If its howling easterly meet up in the lee of JUNO [not Gunyah]

Channel 94 on 27 mghz for boat to boat comms. ??? for VHF

Don't come up some one's burley trail - approach from the side ....... and

I hope to hell Gutsy knows how to catch squid

Good point George. Muster will be at the opposite shore in the lee of Juno in the event of an easterly. It's clearly visible from Gunyah so look for a congregation of boats if nobody is there!

Bloody tempting, and I might be there in the tinny for a night fish. Conditions pending.

Hey Northies,

I have only fished the Hawks once in someone else's boat and have only fished my boat once at night. So I don't think that I am comfortable going out in my boat at night in the unknown.:(

I will be going out in a charter that morning though in that area and possible the next morning in my own boat, so Hopefully I will get lucky. Good luck on the night fish! Sounds like a hellavalotta fun!

What time did you want to hit the water George. Wife wanted me to look at a House at Elanora Heights at 12.00 on Saturday.

Let me know and will work around.

No worries Blacky.

I'll give you a buzz on 94 when I'm in Broken Bay. At the latest I'll be leaving at lunchtime - maybe earlier - depends on how I play my cards at home!

Turn your radio on!
