Just a pictorial essay on this one :D
But it tells only half a story, so I'll let admin whack in the captions, as I can't work out how to get text next to the appropriate photo :o

At this stage, all the masses had been fed, and were waiting for the drawing of the various raffles and prizes. As can be seen, Bashir and the Banana boy did a wombat.

Chris was presented with a cheque for the money that was raised from the esky raffle. It is a tribute to all you Sydney Anglers out there that can and did help when warranted. Congratulations to all...cos you are all winners when we can all band together when needed.:appl: :appl: :appl:

My eldest, Rosette, was called upon to draw out the winners. She was the only one that didn't have a vested interest, as she hates fishing.rofl rofl

And as luck would have it, the winner of the esky, Robbie, had just pulled up and was able to acknowledge his win. What we didn't tell him, was that he had to go up to Cundle to pic it up.rofl Congratulations Robbie.:goodone: :goodone:

some more of them
Andrew, (Angus) was presented his prize for the longest overall Kingfish. Many thanks once again for the support of Ben at Gus Veness Fishing. Your support in all our endeavours has been truly superb. And congratulations to Andrew.:goodone:

The lucky door prize was picked out of the hat, again by my daughter, and lo and behold....Oz wins it!:appl: Congratulations Oz. He wasn't at the presentation, but George got a picture of me calling him to give him the news.

Again, through the generosity of Ben at Gus Veness fishing, we had a swag of gear to hand out. I don't think anyone went away empty handed.:goodone: By the way, we are expecting detailed reports on how you fished all these products boys.:cheekybugger:

On whatt may or may not be my final post on the Omoto KFC for this year, regardless of what Admin and Mods have to say I would like to thank the sponsors for their wonderful support they have shown
Gus Vaness Trading i.e Omoto Tackle :notworthy:
Amazon Outdoors :notworthy:
The Downrigger Shop :notworthy:
and whilst not part of the Omoto KFC, the draw was today, so a very special mention goes out to the Cundle Motel for the absolutely bloody fantastic job they did organising a raffle for one of the members whose kid was really sick :appl: :appl: :appl:
It was a good day, although the only kings that were caught (or to my knowledge) were on Bashir's boat. It was a slow day on the water in Iain's boat. :o
Nonetheless I still had a great time, and the tucker was great plus I scored some freebies...including a new and much needed hat. rofl

yes it is me! I got a hair cut so that I don't get pinned as a terrorist when taking all those flights :P I was wondering where you'd gotten to, but Robbie filled me in when he got there. I leave on the 20th so a week from today! but I'm in canberra for a few days before I go - so I think I've caught my last fish for a while. I'm secretly hoping tuesday morning might be possible, but the weather is being weird right now. Might have to go down to robbie's pub one night eh?
The BBQ was great btw, thanks to the sponsors for providing everything, I think everyone had a good day, I wish the rain held off a little longer to meet people properly, because I got there a bit late.
