Default fishing spots around sutherland shire

Hi guys,

Have recently got back in to fishing over past year and loving it, tried spin, beach fishing and love using lures have caught a few big flattys but not many other types.

just wanting some good tips on spots for different fish around the sutherland shire as i live in cronulla and some technique tips or types of lures to use.

all info will be much appreciated.

thanks.

if your into squidding, gunnamatta bay wharf and wallys wharf are good spots to try and not far from cronulla.
apart from that theres bundeena and garie beach in the national park not too far. bundeena is good for squid at night and i usually just chuck one of the squid i catch out live and have pulled out a couple sharks from there. garie produces good salmon at times mainly late afternoon on a run out.
if im not out in the boat these are the usual spots i go to around the shire. good luck!

Wally's is at the end of Port Hacking Rd, Dolan's Bay. Too many people there lately on good weather days. Also no squid of late, only a few yakkas and undersized others.

Had a great day a week ago Bate Bay.
Good flathead, snapper, rock cod + others. Took home a banjo shark. Yet to cook that so will be an experiment.
Actually a surprisingly good haul for a couple of novices.
